Cliff Küchen was founded 30 years ago, in 1993, by Andreas Stubenvoll and his wife Sarah as a woodworking engineer.

The then small company with just three employees has grown steadily over the last three decades, but the core values have remained the same: Commitment to quality, expertise and a focus on customer needs and expectations.

Over the last ten years, style and design have taken centre stage in the creation of kitchen furniture: functionality and technology meet aesthetics, elegance and appearance.

The second generation is still active in the company, and the love and respect for the craft has been passed on from father to son:

Andreas’ youngest son Jonatan joined the family business in 2018 after studying abroad, also as a woodworking engineer. He started as a salesman and sales manager, where he was constantly involved in the day-to-day business, and then took on increasing responsibility in the management of the company.

Today, he works alongside his father in the management and development of the company, which is still wholly Hungarian-owned and is now being passed on from father to son.

Our aim is still to produce customised kitchen furniture with a personalised design, taking into account individual needs, which will bring pleasure to every moment in the kitchen for a long time.

How is Cliff kitchen furniture made?

The former craft business now has a 2,000 m2 factory next to Ödenburg (Sopron) 60km from Vienna, where kitchen furniture is manufactured on a 21st century production line using the latest technology and the hands of experienced master carpenters.

Thanks to constant improvements, there is a wide range of classic, modern and vintage kitchens to choose from. When designing our kitchen furniture, we endeavour to use the highest quality fittings, hinges, worktops and quality products from various kitchen appliance manufacturers.

When planning, we keep an eye on the latest trends and adapt our production technology accordingly. The design is created in 3D and we can show you what the kitchen will look like before it is finished.

At Cliff Küchen GmbH, both technology and craftsmanship are integrated into the process. The kitchen furniture and fronts are 100% manufactured in our factory. Bespoke milling machines, CNC machining centres and an automated surface treatment system help to produce the furniture.

Painting and varnishing in the paint shop is still carried out using traditional methods – priming, sanding – and the latest varnishing technology. Our furniture is assembled by master carpenters and qualified employees who are exacting in their work so that it is also carried out with the utmost professionalism, because we know that every detail is important.

“When we opened our first kitchen studio and company 30 years ago, we had no idea that we would be able to offer you such a wide range of kitchen furniture today! We are proud to have a few decades behind us and look forward to the challenges of the future, but the greatest joy is seeing our furniture in your homes nationwide!”
